L’Altro Impero is located in an old building, which was the site of the first Town Hall in Verona. It was built at the end of 1100 A.D. to celebrate Verona’s victory over the imperial army of Frederick Barbarossa, and is the symbol of that great and unexpected victory. L’Altro Impero offers an indoor area and two outdoor spaces that respectively face Piazza Dei Signori and the Cortile Mercato Vecchio (Old Market Square). The wooden features bring character to the entire place, from the large bar to the rustic tables. The setting is completed by beautiful coloured chairs and racks that hang from the ceiling. On these, one can admire (or buy) the ingredients we use to make our pizzas.
